Signing Service companies are created to help facilitate the scheduling of Notaries when it comes to Real Estate transactions. Simply put, Signing Service Companies popped up to serve one very specific purpose. To give Notaries business…

The lender works with the title company, and when transactions like refinances are ready to close… the title company gets to pick if they want to use their own Notary in their database, or many times they can use a signing service company. They send over the closing documents to the signing service company and then they simply find a Notary to be assigned that is locally to the signer. It alleviates a part of the process for the title company making their job easier.

The title company forwards the information and the documents over to the Signing Service Company, and they hunt for notaries in all 50 states! Easy Peasy!

You don’t sign up with the Signing Service companies until you are 100% ready to take on orders and phone calls to meet clients. Again this is only one way how to make money as a Notary. This isn’t until you get your Notary Commission, Notary Signing Agent certification, and become background screened. You’ll also need your Dual Tray Printer, laptop, and lots of other tools to make you look great and separate yourself from the pack!
