Look I was there too…. so let me help you out! Before we dive into the part-time Notary jobs, let me explain my 11 favorite parts of being a Notary/Notary Signing Agent from a previous blog I wrote.
It is amazing being a Notary Signing Agent. Remember… I am a FULL-TIME Notary Signing Agent so I am a little bias! But I started out part time myself!

1) Great money in little time. Does $75-$175 per signing as a mobile Notary sound good? They take less than an hour once you’re trained and are close by where you live.
2) No experience or degrees required. Just go through the Notary process for your state, and any extra Notary Signing Agent training courses as they will open up your mind to more Notary jobs around you!
3) You can be full-time or part-time, never a bad time… YOU choose! Many Notary job appointments are between 4-7pm so after your “day job” closings can be a normal thing to get started! You can work around the clock or work limited hours, it’s your choice.
4) Work when and where you want… turning down jobs is never an issue. They just call the next notary! We all take vacations! Create your own schedule. I talk about several strategies to do this in my course!
5) Notarial income is NOT subject to self-employment tax (consult your tax advisor). However my Blueprint Course goes into depth with it on one of my excel forms and shows you the IRS information and even the specific tax code.
6) The more you work = the more you get paid. Try that at corporate…
7) Very low startup costs! Consider a used printer or certified refurbished to keep costs down. Or pay an arm and a leg like I did. You’ll want paper and toner too! Remember each toner is per the printer type.
8) YOU can give yourself raises working for better paying clients!
9) Notary jobs are more service oriented than sales. You are not selling, you are fulfilling someone need. Remember they cannot notarize their own signature!
10) Helps you raise your standards to a high quality of work and keeps you mentally sharp. The job requires it!
11) Sense of fulfillment helping people sign documents (not exactly labor intensive) in the community you live in. You’ll meet some great people and develop a great network in no time!
Notary Signing Agents can make between $75-$175 per signing working for Lenders, Title Companies, Signing Service companies and other clients facilitating paperwork when it comes to Real Estate transactions! They meet signers locally, help them sign their documents, and get paid. Not a bad gig right?
So where are the Notary jobs near you?
And where are the part-time Notary jobs too?
You see.. they are all around you!
If you see people and homes around you, your off to a good start!
Every single one of them needed to sign paperwork when it comes to their Real Estate transaction. They need documents notarized when they purchase, refinance, take an equity loan, sell the home, and even get a reverse mortgage. Believe it or not, I know of 15 different Real Estate business streams when it comes to doing loan signings… I’ve been doing this for over a decade!
So all you need to find Notary jobs around you is just to understand where to go and get work, and which credentials you want to have, you open up a whole new opportunity to get phone calls on a daily basis to facilitate paperwork around you for the mortgage industry. You can do this full-time or part-time!
